In cooperation with bi-club, we are showing you the cyberpunk classic „Blade Runner“ from 1982.
In the dystopian Los Angeles of 2019, the world is not only populated by humans, but also by bio-chemical androids called replicants. Their tasks are primarily unattractive or boring. But some of the Nexus-6 replicants tended to rebel against their creators, that‘s why some police officers were given the special task of eliminating these renegade replicants. One of these Blade Runners is Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who reluctantly accepts his new mission. He is to eliminate a group of six replicants from a colony who have illegally escaped to Earth.
Ridley Scott’s science fiction milestone originally only received mixed reviews in the USA, but developed into a cult film over the years. This could also be due to the various cut versions, three of which are particularly widespread. For bi-club’s cyberpunk party, we are showing you the latest and most Ridley Scott-influenced version: Blade Runner – The Final Cut. (SP)
The film starts at 7pm in the Helmholtz Hörsaal. Admission is free.
