If you think of Spider-Man movies, you probably remember Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield hunting villains through the urban jungle of Manhattan. But Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse takes on the Spider-Man franchise with a different approach and sets out to create a completely animated superhero film. After high school student Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) gets bitten by a spider, he develops similar abilities like Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man (Chris Pine). Soon both meet but things turn bad for Paker during a fight against the Green Goblin (Jorma Taccone) and Kingpin (Liev Schreiber). The affairs become really confusing for Miles, when he comes across another Spider-Man (Jake Johnson) from a parallel dimension which Kingpin managed to open. This alternate Spider-Man whose real name is Peter B. Parker, helps Miles to master his skills and quickly has to get back to his own dimension. On the way they discover even more Spider-Man-alike superheroes from different dimensions.

The Oscar award-winning film comes up with an utterly new concept to the Spider-Man movie franchise and creates a visual fascinating world around it which is also fitting to the more humoristic approach of the film.
