Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton is simply stunning\, his charisma is captured perfectly\, which is not only evident in a scene where he gives a rousing speech from a standing start. Umso unvermittelter trifft ihn der Tod seiner Frau\, die bei einem Zugunglück ums Leben kommt. Fortan muss Markus sich allein um seine Teenager-Tochter Mathilde kümmern. Dabei will er eigentlich nur seine Ruhe\, und seine Trauer über ein paar Bier vergessen.\nDas ändert sich\, als plötzlich der Mathematiker Otto vor der Tür steht und ihm eine schockierende Theorie unterbreitet: Markus Frau soll nicht Opfer eines unglücklichen Zufalls\, sondern ein Kollateralschaden bei der Beseitigung eines Kronzeugen gewesen sein\, der gegen die berüchtigte Bikergang „Riders of Justice“ hätte aussagen sollen. Eine Nachricht\, die in Markus die Rachsucht weckt… \nRegisseur Anders Thomas Jensen liefert mit „Helden der Wahrscheinlichkeit“ eine gelungene Mischung aus Rache-Thriller à la „John Wick“ und dunkler Komödie mit erstaunlich viel emotionalem Tiefgang.
