Who’s that driving around in  the distance? Its none other than our favourite Sci-Fi roomba WALL-E (voice by Ben Burtt)! The last one of his kind who is roaming around and cleaning up the planet after humanity has long left the uninhabitable earth to continue our journey as a species through space.

This delightful classic does not just teach us to be aware of the enviroment and heed the consequences,  no it also does so by showing us a (litteral) seed of hope to never give up even when things already seem dire.

Now let us follow our endearing protagonist and their more futuristic companion EVE (voiced by Elissa Knight) on their way to the spaceship AXIOM as they they try to bring the hope for sustainible life on earth back to humanity. This easier said than done, noumerous challenges await them, not the least of them beeing that lets just say humans have… changed a bit since they took of.

Its should also come as no surprise that WALL-E won many reputable awards most notable the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year 2009! (JK)
