What does the Fox say? In this movie a lot, because Mr. Fox (no first name, but voiced by George Clooney) is a bit more extraordinary than first meets the eye:  Behind this loving family fox with his wife Felicity (voiced by Meryl Streep) and their somewhat… special son Ash (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) lies a past filled with adventure and danger that even now, he could never really leave behind. Unfortunately it now not only has consequences for him, but starts to affect the entire animal community, for the enemies he‘s made now don‘t care what damage they do on their hunt for this cheeky fox.

Animated in an endearing stopmotion style also seen again later in other movies of director and co-writer Wes Anderson, its once again a typical movie of his, filled with the humor fans have grown to love, although it is originally based on a story of Roald Dahl. Already coming out in 2009 Fantastic Mr. Fox was Anderson’s 6th movie and first full stop-motion-animated film that would later also influence the film “Isle of Dogs”.

So come now as we see how this (hopefully not mis-) adventure of the Fantastic Mr. Fox plays out! (JK)
